About ISO 9001: 2008
Krishna Hospital conforms to ISO 9001: 2008 standards. It is, in fact, the first hospital in the region to do so. ISO, or International Standards Organisation, is a worldwide body that functions as a global developer and publisher of international standards.
The ISO 9001: 2008 certification requires an organisation to ensure specific parameters for its quality management system. For instance, the company has to demonstrate that it can consistently offer products that meet customer requirements as well as statutory and regulatory norms. Customer satisfaction is also taken into account. The organisation must enhance this by effectively implementing the quality management system. Processes for continual improvement and conformity to customer needs and statutory requirements have to be integrated into this system.
Only organisations that satisfy these parameters are awarded the ISO 9001: 2008 certification, and it has been Krishna Hospital’s sincere endeavour to ensure that it has highly developed quality management systems that work towards pleasing customers as well as set industry standards.
